1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the VokPanda platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms, you may not access the platform.

2. Description of Service

VokPanda operates as a marketplace connecting language learners (Students) with independent language tutors (Tutors). We facilitate the booking, payment, and delivery of language lessons.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• Tutors must undergo our KYC verification process before receiving payouts.

4. Payments, Fees, and Taxes

VokPanda facilitates secure transactions using a standardized fee structure (1.036 ratio):

• Listed Price: The price displayed on a tutor's profile includes the Tutor's Share (80%) and VokPanda's Platform Fee (20%).
• GST: VokPanda collects GST at 18% only on the 20% platform fee (effective 3.6% of the listed price), which is added to the total at checkout.
• Milestone Settlements: To ensure security and student satisfaction, funds are released to tutors in Weekly Milestones (approx. 1/4th of the fee every 7 days).
• Tutor KYC: Tutors must undergo verification before receiving their 80% share.

5. Conduct

Users agree to communicate respectfully and professionally. Abuse, harassment, or circumvention of the platform's payment systems will result in immediate account termination.

6. Limitation of Liability

VokPanda is a marketplace platform. We do not guarantee the specific educational outcomes of any lesson, nor are we liable for disputes arising directly between Students and Tutors outside of our established dispute resolution process.
